A New Beginning

I had intended this to be a diary blog with diary-style content. Over its first eight days and 25 posts of existence, however, it has morphed into something entirely different, a wide-ranging personal blog. So I thought of going back to the blog’s roots and turning it into a true diary, but the blog in its current form had proven to be of interest to a wide variety of people. I couldn’t argue with the results: more than 330 views and 51 followers in a mere eight days, which I’m told is fairly rapid growth. So I’ve decided to recast the blog as what it already is by giving it a new title and changing certain basic things about it. If you’re already a follower, please tell me how you like the changes. If not, please tell me whether the blog appeals to you as it is now.

  1. I’ve a strong feeling your blog is bound for fame so I’m stamping my presence now to make it known to your future mob of followers that I was among the early ones! ๐Ÿ™‚

Pressing on with your original plan of keeping a diary blog sounds appealing. Mine is kind of a memoir. It isn’t easy getting around liking a wonderful post or leaving comments to bloggers who impress me because I have to remind myself I’ll also be exposing my blog which has nothing but my shameless true tales and mawkish sentiments. ๐Ÿ˜€

By the way, I never use the Follow button because I prefer bookmarking.
Is that your real name? Sounds cool.

    1. Thanks for the compliment, but I don’t know whether I want fame. Fame is a bit of a mirage, because famous people don’t live the kinds of lives everyone imagines them living. It’s never the same on the outside as it looks from the inside. What I would like, however, is lots of readers who read what I write, which is what you’re doing now. YOU and people like you are the backbone of all my efforts, and it’s you and people like you who will always have my loyalty.

      1. “Itโ€™s never the same on the outside as it looks from the inside.” Quite true. In the same vein how I had thought about what it feels to become Freshly Pressed: The initial excitement and attention could be overwhelming, but what happens next? That’s the big question.

  2. Just finding you, but what I see I like. I love the fact you’re keeping it simple and organized. Makes it easier to find something you saw before if you want to reference, or re-read. Keep it going!
